Complete PPL – Part 1
Overview
In the initial stages of training, you will master basic flight manoeuvres, including turns, climbs, and descents. Once confident, you will move on to take-offs and landings—known as circuit training—culminating in your First Solo flight. This milestone is followed by a combination of dual and solo flights as you learn navigation and fly cross-country to other airfields.

Objectives & Milestones
Student pilots progress at individual rates; however, within the initial 20 hours of training, your targets should be:
Complete and pass the Air Law ground examination.
Achieve the required flight competency standard to fly your First Solo.
Many students progress beyond these minimum targets in both their flight training and ground exams during Part 1.
