We are happy to introduce a Club within the Club in order to offer our members the chance to fly US registered aircraft. There are a growing number of pilots, in the UK and the rest of Europe, who hold FAA licences and ratings, particularly Instrument Ratings.

The holder of a UK-JAR PPL may fly an N-registered aircraft within UK airspace, but to make full use of such aircraft, in pan-European context, a US licence is required.

Lydd Aero Club is delighted to offer to suitably qualified pilots FAA registered aircraft at extremely competitive rates.

For use outside the United Kingdom, FAA airman's certificate and current biennial review required in addition to Club checkout
