As an Approved Training Organisation a Risk Assessment has been drawn up in line with Government directives.
NOTE - Check rides/training flights are for the benefit of the licence holder and will be on a one to one basisto reduce the footfall through the club premises and reduce the exposure of the staff and others. No passengers will be allowed for check rides or flying lessons whilst restrictions are in force. The club must focus on flight training for now so the premises cannot be used for social gatheringor as a waiting area. The carrying of passengers once a PPL is current will then be the pilot in command’s decision.
You will be required to:
1. Have your Licence (PPLs), Medical and Log Book available for certification.
2. Have your own headset and PPE (face covering minimum, disposable gloves recommended).(Instructors will have additional PPE as required by CAA directive.)
3. Sign a declaration of freedom from Covid19 symptoms or contacts and be willing to have your temperature checked (Non-contact equipment).
4. Maintain Social distancing both in the building and outside
Pilots who have booked aircraft and instructor via the Club’s email/online booking system may be contacted by the instructor for a briefing by telephone regarding the “check-out” requirements.
Instructor availability for re-validation and students.
There will be one instructor per day to ensure distancing within the office training environment. The nominated Instructor for each day will appear on the club’s Booking System for pilots to select instructor/day/time to suit themselves. Check availability of aircraft and instructor on:
